do i need any experience to skydive?
No! We specialize in first time jumpers making tandem skydives You will be paired with a highly experienced instructor and attached securely to the instructor during FreeFall and under Parachute.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Your appointment time is your arrival time not your jump time. We do ask that you be on time and ready to focus on your paperwork and training. Of course you are welcome to be early and recommended if you are going to need extended personal time before the jump (bathroom, tiktok, etc). Being late can cause you to get bumped back in the schedule. We will normally still get you jumped but it might take a while to fit you in.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE IN A GROUP?
We schedule groups of 1 - 26. Our waiting area provides a good view of the landing area providing some group interaction.
CAN WE ALL JUMP TOGETHER?
We take up two tandem jumpers at a time and you will leave the plane one after the other with some separation between.
HOW LONG IS THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE?
We strive to keep a strict schedule and normally have you in and out within 2 hours. There are however many possible delays that are out of our control making It is necessary to budget 3 - 4 hours of your day to complete a skydive for 1-2 people. Add 30-40 minutes per pair for more than 2 jumpers.
What is the minimum age?
18 years old. If it were totally up to us we may lower this slightly however due to reasons out of our control this is non-negotiable.
What is the maximum weight?
There is no one real answer here as height, body type, and fitness all play a part if being able to safely wear a Skydiving harness. Typically if you are under 215 lbs and remotely fit there should be no problem. If you are over 215 lbs, please check out our complete Weight Limit Policies.
Does cloud chasers offer training and can i become a licensed skydiver?
YES!! We offer complete skydiving training via Tandem Progression and AFF. All our instructors are licensed through the United States Parachute Association (USPA) and managed by a USPA Examiner. Tandem Skydiving may be the monetary back bone of skydiving, however training and giving back to the sport will always be a true passion at Cloud Chasers Skydiving.
what should i wear?
For skydiving you’ll need to wear close-toed shoes and form-fitting clothes. Tennis shoes or sneakers are ideal. We’ll provide you with a skydiving jumpsuit before you’re jump.
can i host a party at the dropzone?
Within reason. We have had birthdays, weddings, gender reveals, engagements, etc. From very small to renting the whole dropzone for a day is all possible. We offer skydiving perks for some of these, like gender reveal smoke from the parachutes. We are limited to space and number of guests so please call with as much notice as possible to work this out.
can my friends and family watch me land?
Absolutely. We have shaded picnic tables for your group to hang out at in sight of the landing area. We have water and soft drinks available at very reasonable rates. Please keep in mind you are on an active airport so all children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
can i wear my glasses/contacts?
We will provide you with a pair of goggles to wear during your skydive. These can be worn with glasses or contacts.
are there any medical conditions that would prevent me from skydiving?
We strive to accommodate all jumpers to ensure and safe and fun skydive. Please let your instructor know if you have any medical conditions that they should be aware of.
Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Yes! Gift certificates make a great gift for friends, family, and loved ones.
